SET-UP
Four 24" x 47" boards, set up side by side were used. Terrain was hilly, with the hills fairly heavily forested, and the valleys, dangerously open, with scattered copses of woods. Deep snow (baking soda) covered the terrain, cutting all movement in half.

SITUATION:

Somewhere north of the Mannerheim Line, in Finland, this Russian regiment has been moving steadily northward for several days. The Mannerheim Line has been broken at great cost to the Russians, and to the Finns as well, considering the size of their population. Intelligence information has been scant or nonexistent. The Russian force has not encountered any Finns. When suddenly....

ORDERS:
Search and destroy all Finnish units.
