EXPLANATION

Example: A Hezer, with an 75mm high velocity gun takes on an British "Churchill MKVII" (see British Armor Table) from the front, at a range of 27 inches. The German player rolls a 18% (percentile dice). A sure HIT as it is well below the 73% required.  With a single die, the player determines that he has hit the Churchill's "Front Bottom". At this range, the 75 mm shell will penetrate 98mm. Normally a good shot, but the Churchill, at that location, is 105mm thick (as determined by the British Armor table). Made their ears ring, but did not take out the Churchill. Now it is your turn to see if your Hetzer survives!
