Sometimes life
Invades your style
And changes everything.
Sometimes life
Says "all the while
That's what I meant to bring"
Sometimes life
Gives happiness
And sometimes brings us hell.
And sometimes life
Gives pain, I guess
To train us all real well.
Sometimes life
Thinks life's a breeze,
That we should all succeed.
And sometimes life
Just aims to please
And tries to set us free.
But sometimes life
Forgets to help
And leaves us all behind.
And sometimes life
Mistakes our yells
For all that's good and kind.
Sometimes life
Says "that's enough"
And lays us in our beds
And sometimes life
Makes living tough
And we all end up dead .
