A wonderful example of a misaligned
obverse die on a Eisenhower Dollar. The misalignment is
a conservative 6% + . An examination of the obverse and
reverse fields and the portrait area is very clean and
is virtually mark free which is unusual in a business strike.
This is an error that is seldom encountered on the Eisenhower
Dollar as most errors are off centers not misalignment
varieties. It is amazing that the die on this one did not fall
out of the holder on the press as it had to be extremely
loose. I do not accept Pay Pal
or any other type of Credit Cards as payment, I do accept
Postal Money Orders or a Cashiers Check drawn on a US Bank
Shipping for the buyer will be via Priority Mail with full
Insurance. A great opportunity to add a
very scarce to rare error to your
collection.
