there comes a time, in mortal minds
when questions rule the soul.
how to live, how to give
how to remain whole.
the search for truth,
eternal light,
has carried many names.
siddharthas eight fold path, competes
with christ-childs fathers varied games.
just as the constrained rules of
metered poetry give decision to the placement of words
so too does the base understanding of religion leave us
with little alternative but the
socially accepted dogma, no matter how esoteric society
may actually deem it
However , when we as a race (of humankind) have reached
the strength to accept our own actions, and the
responsibilities inherent within, then can we grow beyond
blame and learn
to understand the meaning of perfect love and perfect
trust, opening the portal between
god-head and god-hood.
a verdant cloak enfolds the shoulders
that are our horizon,
shrouded in a collar of pre-dawn mist.
his face, an orb of saffron and fire, holds portent to
the death that is re-birth of the day.
the seasons, the cycle from which all truths will emerge
.
sable, the sky now (silver tending to
black), azure giving over to ebony, a void that is not
there, for She looks down, a reflection left of His light
, yet a power stronger.
for She moves the tides, the hearts and souls of all her
creatures, sentient or not.
A ball of quicksilver ever changing, evolving, revolving
maiden, mother and crone
giving without question; answers without remorse
we have chosen to be part of the
natural world, to bypass the ego that would consume the
un-initiated (in the myriad ways of understanding
multiple truths)
this iniation is by no means limited to those that are of
the Wicca, for this love and strength existed long before
our name was branded or accepted and will continue well
after a new one has been chosen.
a question asked, an answer sought
a true lifes journey , lessons taught
the resons for this lifes ordeal,
is but to find the strength to feel
we chart a course
a tempestuous sea
the goddess finds us
