Cattails

Sit by the Frog Pond and think for a moment.

Welcome to Cattails. This is the part of the pond where people come to think about life. Life is an interesting adventure, to say the least. Ever notice people say "That person will go far in life?" Where is this person going in life, do you think? Where is there in life to get to? When one says "they will get nowhere in life," were they suppose to go somewhere in the first place? How does one know where one is in life? Is it a measurement of deeds? Perhaps a measurement of one's wealth? Or maybe even one's position in his/her society. These things may mean a great deal to you, or they may mean little to you. And where does religion fit on the roadway of life? Where does it's detour take one?

And what of the 90% of our brain scientist believe we do not use? What would happen if we started using 100% of our brain? Would we be capable of levitating objects? Or telepathy? Or even time travel?

Have you ever seen a ghost or spirit? A phantom, if you will. Do they exist? How do we know if they don't? What about aliens? Is it silly to think that we are the only beings in the universe with our intelect or higher? What's at the bottom of the deepest point in the ocean? Is there some sea monster? A kraken? Maybe even a whole new race of creatures. What of creature such as Bigfoot, the Lochness Monster, Ogopogo, the Yeti, and other such creatures? Do they exist or are simply scams?

Have you ever given any real thought to such things? Please, if you have any answers (right or wrong or just a simple answer) please e-mail them to me. ninja_frog@hotmail.com

Revelations to the Ninja Frog

Speech is purposeful. Without purpose, speech becomes like a plow used for every other use besides plowing a field. Speech, like all things, is meant for the glorification of God. Most, if not all, worldly things are misused to glorify SELF, not God.

A plow has but a single use, to plow a field. Any other use just should not even be considered. So should it be with speech. It's purpose is to spread the word of God thus glorifying him. Yet today even a plow share is melted down to forge a sword.

In the world today there are many distractions from the glorification of God. These distractions focus on the glorification of self. These are what our physical longs for. Our lustful desires seek the glorification of our selves, but in God's eyes this is wrong. Why should the creation praise itself above it's creator? What selfishness! Why should the potter rejoice in himself for a fine vase he has made when the thing to do is to glorify he who gave the ability to the potter to do such things?

Satan can not read your thoughts. He can inspire thought, but can not read them. God can read thoughts for he knew what you are thinking before time dawned.

God is omnipresent. Satan is not. He can only be in one place at one time. But even though he isn't omnipresent, he does have his demonic minions to hinder God's children.

Sin appeals to the flesh. Flesh is much easier to hear than the spirit. Sin has no appeal to the spirit. When in the middle of listening to the flesh how can one hear the spirit of God? It is possible. It must first be recognized. Even a faint whisper can be heard below a crowd(not above most certainly). When heard and recognized how can God be denied? Run! Run to the father and ask forgiveness for he will give in freely and abundantly. Sin appeals to flesh. Flesh is self. Sin does not appeal to spirit, that spirit given by God. Till then we are dead to God. That which is dead in God is not with God. That which is not with God is lost. God calls to the lost, but many stray still.

God does not force himself upon anyone. The choice is always given freely. Also, God whispers. Rarely does God shout.

God's grace must be wanted. It must be actively sought. It's yours if you ask. God holds it out to you. All you have to do is ask, receive, and believe.

Strong may a man be, but before the will of God less than a man of straw would he be should he try to stand against it. Yet stand for God and in his word and he will make you as a mountain.

Prayer-I am your instrument. Use me as you will. Through you allow me to do great things for you and in your name. Help me to know your will that I may do it. Use me as you will. May my words and works be pleasing to you and in accordance to your will. Protect me from the devil's tricks and snares. Deliver me from sin and self glorification. Help me to walk in your ways. At your right hand stands your righteousness. To your left, your law.

What power does a being have be him human, angel, or daemon that God did not give that being? How can one believe that they do works under their own power? How can a car run without fuel? God gives all power. From the power it takes a man to lift a stone, to the power it takes an angel to fly, to the power it takes a daemon to cry curses at it's very creator(though a deamon created he did not.)

Submission-The act of giving up rights or privileges so that another may have what they need or want.

Change comes through unselfishness. Others will see your willingness to give of self and wonder why. It is so against our nature that they should and will wonder what makes this person want to give of self.

Love and patience

God gives and takes. God honors and humbles.

Who can judge God? Who can criticize the potter when he sees an imperfection in his work and remolds his clay? Only another potter. But there is only one God.

Faith may move mountains, but mountains will not be moved unless it is God's will.

From earth we are from and at our bodies end we will return to the earth. Unless we belong to Jesus our souls face the second death.

I walk in light yet I look around and all I see is darkness. Darkness all around me. Grabbing at me. Clawing at me. Trying to drag me into it's evil domain. But the light is my shelter and his light is of pure love. Darkness may not, can not enter into the holy light my father shines upon me. The light blinds evil and warms the righteous.

How is it that the children are so tempted? I hear my father's commandments. I know what it is he will have me do and that he denies me. I know why I am so denied. That which is not good for me. I can clearly hear his voice, but also calls to me darkness. Why is darkness appealing to me? It disgusts my father and he tells me not to listen. They are meaningless wastes of time and leave me empty. Yet to do the will of my father fills me till the next task I am to do. Then I am emptied only to be filled again.
