Poems (Part Four)

When you're in the mood to fly

MY SECRET LOVE

The one that will always open my heart
Storms of emotions flowing into each head
Only of the persons that understand my question
Can you feel it?

"What does that mean?"
That it's so beautiful you want to live for it
Catch it with thin silver fingers
Hold its beauty till the fire dies

Which won't happen
A mist that comes and grabs your soul
You let go and sense your angel wings grow
You are alone with all the letters

Black silk on velvet grounds
Dolphins walking through
This deep blue something
Closing their eyes and going on

Evilness runs away
When the glowing heat enters the room
Making people smile and breathe
Jumping or slumbering on tables

A switch can turn the sound off
But it continues to play inside
The green and blue universe
Filled by the notes of its glory

RAVE

Pale bodies all dressed in black
Moving through the flash of the night
Was it possible to go back?
Losing your painted head out of sight

Each one of us was completely alone
Our thin white hands hung loose in the air
Outdoors you quickly got chilled to the bone
We looked at the DJ and didn't care

It was a strange thing to feel
Swimming on a crazy wave
Emotions harder than steel
We all did this thing called rave

Somewhere in the crowd I lost myself
In a place that was certainly not mine
I was like a book without a shelf
Wishing to return to the sky and shine

ON THE JOURNEY

Soft voices singing on the radio
Dust crumbling on ancient books
On pages that once were white
Raindrops flow down the windows

I am sitting in a cube
Made of colored screens
Like a child looking
At its favorite toys

And thinking
Remembering
Forgetting
Listening

Piles of memories
Cover the floor and walls
Some call it a mess
Others pieces of life

The earth globe in front of me
Turning under my fingers
Names of unknown places
Appear in front of my eyes

I'd like to see them all
Smell the jasmin trees
Feel the ocean wind
Walk on gold and pearls

Why this music
Why not anything else
Let the past be past
Why put myself on trial

A beautiful song
We should have known
It was the end of it
But the globe can't die

I will never hate the music
Waves playing with my heart
As if it were a red balloon
All those words I know

But I will never forget
Take my hand or let it go
I do not care
It's over

THE DEATH OF DARKNESS

Her glowing ebony eyes, shining darkness in the sky
Milady turned to me and showed her glowing fang
I shall catch you anywhere, every secret is my spy

My only weapon was a precious golden arrow
Given to me last night by Aurora's lovely daughter
To fight the vampyre's glance, with an arm so narrow...

I carried my heart in snowy clothes, waiting for the day to follow
Sweet sounds filled my waking body as the nightingale sang
Suddenly Milady appeared, I fearfully hid in a tree full of sorrow

Her hand, as pale as the mist in the forest green
Holding a dagger, preparing for a man to slaughter
But my bow was too gracious for her and too keen

Sending a glistening arrow unknown to the creature's eyes
I heard her threatening scream as she felt the pang
Aurora, the golden sun, has vinced with her soul so wise
