Lab 7
June 3, 2003 |
1. Return personality profile. Update grade grids. 2. Lab 7: You will write a feature based on an in-lecture interview of media writer Donna Pazdera. The interview will occur Monday June 2, 2003, during lecture. The interview will begin promptly at 8 a.m. Bring notepad and take copious notes. You may also bring a tape recorder to record the interview. Mr. Bulla will conduct a focused interview. You will have about 10 minutes to ask questions at the end of class. You are encouraged to go over notes and transcribe key portions of the interview as soon as possible after class. You will write a rough draft before you go to lab Tuesday. It is highly recommended that you make some sort of outline for your article before writing your rough draft. You will have two hours to re-write this news-feature with a soft lead and a nut graph. Your article must be factually accurate, focused and conform to AP style. PROOFREAD IT VERY CAREFULLY. 3. Lab 8: Write a science feature based on an in-lecture interview of UF shark expert George Burgess. The Burgess interview will be held during lecture Tuesday June 3, 2003. 4. Midterm exam scores will be returned today to you in lab. Mr. Bulla will be happy to go over your exam with you Wednesday during his office hours (second and third periods) in Weimer G-038. |
