The High Barrier

   'You're right' You say to Shila. 'We need to sleep.' You lower yourself to the ground, feeling sleep pulling at you. You're too exhausted to do anything more than pull Shila closer for warmth as you lapse into unconsciousness....

   Two people's heat was not enough, however, to stay the storms of the High Barrier. Future travelers, choosing a warmer climate to pass over the mountains, might come across your remains. If, that is, there are future travelers....
