Can Engineering Really Make a Difference to the
Soldier in the Field? Speaker: Paul Consiglio, BE (Elec), GradDipCommsSystems, MBA The Land Engineering Agency provides technical advice and engineering design, development, test and evaluation services to the Australian Army. In carrying out this role, members of the LEA use Systems Engineering methods in the acquisition and through life support of equipment and systems for the Army. Paul Consiglio is currently director of the Land Engineering Agency within the Defence Materiel Organisation. Paul has over 20 years experience with Defence, primarily in the provision of engineering services for equipment acquisition projects. He will speak on how the LEA is planning to deliver and sustain capability at an affordable cost and how it will meet the challenges of Army’s new technical regulatory framework.
