The physical education program at Mineral Springs School is based upon the theme of lifetime participation. Croquet, badminton, archery, juggling and golf are just a few of the activities included in the program.
A piece of equipment is given to every student to work with and they are encouraged to work at their own level of expertise.
The theory behind the physical education program is that school age team sport participants turn into adult spectators. While learned lifetime sports students turn into lifetime participants.
Field Day
The outside bowling lanes were open.
A tug of war was waged.
The "Squaty Bodies" ended up the day with a Rock Dancing Exhibition. There were 17 events in all - and students had the opportunity to compete in all with a partner. Probably the most entertaining and exciting for the students was the water balloon toss - but no matter their preference of events, the day was certainly enjoyed by all.
