EMMA MATTSDOTTER PELO, daughter in Tab. 78, b. 29 March 1878 in Pelo, Nedervetil, Finland, d. 20 January 1950 in Nolalee, Ontario Canada, married 1918 in Nivala to Antti Näppälä, b. 16 March 1878 in Lumijoki, Finland, d. 27 January 1948 in Nolalee, Canada. He was previously married in 1904 at Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada to Anna Matilda Saari, b. 13 May 1863, d. 13 April 1918. They had four children, born in Finland: Jesi, Eino, Lylli and Sulo. Emma had two children born before she married Antti Näppälä. Children, born in Maliskylä:

• 2 Laina Emmasdotter, b. 8 February 1913, d. 19 May 1978 in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. She
• married #1 Eino Wainikka. They had a son Allan, b. Nolalee; drowned. Laina married #2 John Niemi and they had three children:
