JCS it's one of my 10 top favorite movies of all time. I saw it for the first time when I was 10 years old and ever since I've been keeping the soundtrack with me, first it was an album (the plastic was yellow instead of black), it got stolen. Then it was a tape, it got destroyed. I moved on to the CD, I still own that one. Recently I bought the VHS tape, and the DVD version will be my second DVD that I'm planing on buying. And it is because the movie is such an unique expirience that I always made sure to keep a copy of it. It is such a fresh and yet passionate and demanding opinion of Jesus final days, but now is also a wonderful reflection of the naive 60's and early 70's. I love it, thanks for this page. Alex.

This movie is truly the best I have ever seen on Christ's life. Ted Neeley did a wonderful job portraying Jesus. He gave him emotions. I could feel his pain. I first saw this movie in '74 and saw it about 20 times in theatres. I own the video now and still enjoy it immensely as do my family. Thank you all so much for this wonderful movie!

I recently completed an eight week run of Superstar at Drury Lane Theatre as Music Director/Conductor here in Chicago. LOVE the music. I listen to the original often. This is the first time I have found sites on the web. My Netscape Navigator cannot acces certain images, etc. Which plug-ins do I need? Haven't a CLUE!
