BONDS OF LOVE
There is a special kind of fellowship
‘Tween those who work is this holy place,
Some are quite young and some are old,
But everyone has a smile upon their face.
There are many different nations that work
In the temple, each serving in any way they can,
But all are united, all dressed in white,
Helping with fulfilling God’s eternal plan.
They come from wards and branches,
Some lifelong members others nearly new,
But the bonds of eternal friendship
Is almost impossible to explain to you.
The love flows like a river of peace,
Or feels like a garden full of sweet flowers,
For we are safe and sound in the temple,
Serving for many sacred, loving hours.
Do you not feel it when you enter in?
Does it not embrace and gently heal you?
The Lord you know seals the friendship forever,
And even blesses all the other things you do.
I need the blessing of the Lord each day,
Need Him to show me the path to take
To God in heaven, see these friends again,
Come and share the love that nothing can break.
