WHEN WORKING IN THE TEMPLE
When working in the temple things may not be just right,
Some workers could be sick, some on holiday out of sight,
Not enough workers to do all the jobs that need to be done,
Especially if many patrons make up their minds to come.
A supervisors nightmare is when the room in very bare,
Surely there are some more, they are out there somewhere,
But somehow, with even just a few workers it works out fine,
For tis the Lord that runs the temple so things don’t get out of line.
The temple, to the patrons, looks tranquil, smooth and calm,
Everyone feels so restful, and free from worry and harm,
Noone seems to notice all the gaps in the white ranks,
And for that blessing we offer the Lord our endless thanks.
So workers, please be fully committed to your duty here,
Come in all sorts of weather, come and feel Him near,
Feel of the healing balm, give your service the best you can,
For you’ll learn more of His ways and His eternal plan.
