WE SAINTS OF LATTER DAYS

Oh, how we are truly blest, we Saints of these latter days,
With rich gifts that come from heaven to directs our ways
Whilst travelling through this life, wherever we may be,
A path returning us to heaven, to be there for eternity.

We have the scriptures to teach us the way we should go,
A loving prophet with new heavenly knowledge to bestow,
And the wonders of the temple, eternal gifts given so free
To help and guide us to be together forever as a family.

There used to be a few across this, our world so wide,
Their special grace and beauty no one could ever hide,
But now many are scattered where more Saints may be blest
With the blessing from on high, and we are God’s humble guest.

There is no peace quite as sweet as within the temple walls,
There is a sacred feeling as you gently walk the temple halls,
We are endowed from heaven with many blessings from above,
Come and be found worthy, to share God’s pure, eternal love.

No words of anger are spoken, no cruel action made,
Everyone knows sweet peace, no one is ever afraid.
Temples, whether large or small, is the place where dwells
Angels and the Master, and with joy each heart swells.
