THE CELESTIAL ROOM
Have you ever sat in the celestial room so quiet and serene,
With its pretty shades of pink, cream and a hint of green?
Have you felt the spirit whisper, been touched by its love?
Felt the angels close by, from the realms of heaven above?

Listen. you hear voices hushed with reverence sweet in prayer,
Come and take the time and true tranquillity will be there,
A sob from a contrite soul, and your own heart beating fast,
You will want this moment to go on forever, always last.

Now take this sweet tranquillity, take this place like heaven,
And carry it home with you, this treasure you’ve been given,
And place it in all mundane things, this peace and tranquillity
And nothing can block your way to heaven and God for eternity.

Come, cast your heavy burdens at our dearest Saviour’s feet,
You can do it in this temple as friends and loved ones you meet,
Remember the peace in the celestial room, so very quiet and still,
Listen, hear His voice, then go and do the Master’s will.
