PICTURES IN THE TEMPLE

Hanging in the temple many pictures can be found,
Why not spend some time and have a look around?
They tell of Bible stories that I loved when I was small,
Some of The Book of Mormon, wonderful pictures all.

There is one of the rich man who could not give up his gold,
There is one of the black sheep who wondered from the fold,
But was carried safely home in Jesus’ tender, loving arms,
One where he calls disciples from the sea, which he later calms.

Another one shows Him as a boy in the temple teaching,
Another of Mary and Martha, one where angels sweetly sing,
One visiting this continent in glory, when He rose from the dead,
One feeding the multitude with a few fishes and some bread.

Many others grace these walls and please the eye and heart,
They bring the Saviour closer, help us do our small part,
Come look at the pictures that hang in grace and beauty here,
And they will lead you to want to serve, bring the Saviour near.
