MORONI
Look at the angel Moroni, glistening in the morning sun,
Watching diligently as another new day has begun,
Eastward is his glance, waiting for the great millennial day,
When fear, hate and worries will all fade away.
He looks over to that great restoration place
Where the gospel was restored by God’s good grace,
Can you imagine his joy when the plates were found?
And the record brought forth out of the ground?
I wonder how loud his trumpet will sound on that day
When Jesus comes in glory on this earth to stay?
I long to meet Moroni, not dressed in gold, but white,
I am sure he will shout for joy, sing with all his might,
So when you glance up at Moroni shining in the sun
Know that Christ, our Saviour will one day surely come.
