THE TEMPLE GARDEN
Look at the temple gardens so quiet and serene,
It may be just like Eden might have been,
Does He walk here, looking at tree and flower?
You can feel His presence, such sweet tranquillity,
Lovely flowers and trees set around the building white,
Adding to the beauty for their colours are so bright,
Grounds that are the setting for God’s holy home,
So spend some time and around the gardens roam.
The fragrance of the flowers ascends as a prayer,
Wafting up to heaven, we know God is there,
Waiting for quiet footfalls in this special place,
So come see the beauty, smell the air, feel His grace.
Let us find our part of Eden in this special place,
Find the time to wander, don’t rush at a great pace,
Smell the flowers and watch the birds in the trees,
May your soul be uplifted, like the perfume and breeze
