BOUND ON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN
Come and kneel at the altar in the room with the mirrored walls,
You can feel your ancestors close by as a voice gently calls
Each name to be married forever and children made their own,
Oh, the joy they feel towards you, for that love you have shown.
I have held hands across the altar and have felt the tears flow,
Shedding tears of happiness as now together they can both go,
What a glorious, wonderful promise, to be married for eternity,
Not parted by death, so now no cruel hard sting there be.
For death does not bring sorrow, death does nor bring pain,
For through the great sealing power, families will be together again,
Bound on earth and in heaven by our God of boundless love,
Who wants His children to be joyful when they reach heaven above.
For if I were not with my loved one, children and dear friends,
I don’t think I’d want to be there for time that never ends.
So every time I kneel to be sealed for those now long gone,
I count my many blessings, especially the great sealing one.
