SEATS IN THE TEMPLE GARDEN
Placed in lovely spots scattered here and there
Are seats in the temple garden that is always fair,
Waiting for someone to come to rest and to pray,
Remembering all the blessing that come our way.
Rest from the cumbersome things all around,
Shut out the noise of the traffics busy sound,
Meditate in the beauty of each seasons flowers
Especially in spring with its blooming bowers.
I do not think that Eden could ever be more fair
As I wandered through all the beauty that was there,
A fragrant tranquility filled my ever grateful heart,
For there in that garden God His love did impart.
I wonder how many spirits wander while they wait
For their names to be called on their special date,
Walking in that garden filled with flowers so sweet,
Enjoying every moment as loved ones they greet.
Come and sit awhile and feel that tranquility and peace,
Enjoy the loveliness around, feel a joy that will not cease,
Spend an extra moment or two and feel the spirits there,
Take a seat in the garden and sweet beauty simply share.
