GOOD FRIDAY IN THE TEMPLE
Many people came on this special day,
Remembering when Jesus gave His life away,
They came rejoicing, others waiting on the other side,
On Good Friday those spirits could not hide.
The veil was very thin as throngs came to bless
Those waiting, hard work we all did confess,
The whole temple was busy, no part was left out,
The outpouring of the spirit left no doubt
In the hearts of those in the temple on Good Friday
Then went home rejoicing so joyfully on their way.
We should have a Good Friday once a month for sure,
So the Lord will want to enter through His door.
Let love flow like a river to God’s throne on high,
And so remember each Good Friday until the day you die.
Then be prepared for those we may not know, freed that day
When a great effort was made and we went rejoicing on our way.
