REASONS
Do we have to have a reason to attend the temple and stay?
If so, do we let many valuable lessons for growth pass away?
The doors open for you with just a gentle tread right there,
Come because you love the Lord, His love with others share.
Are there reasons and excuses so the temple you don’t attend?
Some are legitimate, others to Him a rather sad message send,
If we have promised to come and so His holy house enter in,
If something important crops up, stop and think is it a sin,
Free tickets to a hockey game, do I turn down that chance,
Or an important party at the office then fancy dinner or dance?
Then is the time to stop and ask what would the dear Master do,
He will prompt you, if you listen the sweet truth will come through.
No reasons are needed to enter in and in His presence quietly rest,
It will help heal both mind and spirit and you’ll feel at your best.
Open your heart to the spirit, learn your way back to heaven above,
And as often as possible bask in His never ending powerful love.
