         ANGEL MORONI
They have titivated up the angel Moroni,
See him now how he shines against the dull sky,
Ever bright when the sun shines and skies are blue,
He looks just as good as when he was first new.

He was very tall while close and lying on the ground
He needed a good cleaning and bare patches were found
In his gold leaf covering because of wind, sun and rain,
It is good to see now how bright he shines again.

I remember when he was placed on the spire top,
Many who drove or walked by came to a stop,
Like a guardian angel for the folks far and wide,
Most Bramptonians seem to own him with pride.

About a week he was missing from the temple spire,
I’m sure many people wondered if he had to retire,
But no, he is back again, shining brighter to all around,
A landmark of beauty, proclaiming that truth does abound.
