More poems about Working in the Temple

        DUCKS LEGS
Have you ever seen a family of ducks
        going smoothly along?
Gliding over the water like a melodic
        tune or sweet song,
Mom out in front, dad keeping order
        bringing up the rear,
No more peaceful scene could be found
as we gaze far and near.
If the water is clear and you can get
        close enough to see,
All the little tiny duckling legs are going
        fast as can be,
Just a blur of webbed feet under that
        small feathered frame,
While on top they stay calm and stately
        that is their aim,
However busy we may be each day,
        however fast the pace
In the temple we never hurry and always
        show a sweet calm face,
Take the example of the duckies as
        along they glide,
All the hustle and bustle and haste we
        just tuck away and hide.
