More poems about Worship in the temple

COME UNTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD
There are not many places found world wide
Where you can find peace and from turmoil hide,
Yet in the temple is where true peace can be found
And the weary will find rest and God’s love will abound.

There is no peace anywhere quite like the quiet within
God’s home on earth, tucked away from evil and sin.
Come and watch and listen and there wisdom find
And that peace will go with you, not left behind.

Have the temple in your hearts every day through,
Take part of it home and let it stay with you,
Then no matter how steep the path or cruel life
May be, you will have peace through all your strife.

Each body is a temple, a vessel for the spirit to dwell,
Go to the temple often so as to keep it fed well,
Just like the temple through the darkest of night,
Let us have the peace that makes our light shine bright.

Find the peace found in the temple, take it home with you,
That way we will find eternal peace known to a special few,
Weariness will not matter, anger a complete stranger be,
Help me feel this Lord, so I am fit to dwell one day with Thee.
