BACK HOME
Its like coming home after some long weary journey,
Back in the loving walls of heaven and spiritual safety ,
Back with those who wish to make heaven their home,
Back from the world where for awhile we did roam.
How cool and quiet everywhere in the temple is to me,
After all the noise, turmoil and heat of the big city,
How gentle each word, each footfall how very soft,
You can feel the spirit from the basement to the loft.
No need to explain to the others just how you feel,
For temple lovers all around there is great appeal
In stepping in through those doors so expectantly,
As we receive knowledge to gain joy for eternity.
