ETERNAL FAMILIES
The promises in the temple are promises for eternity,
That families sealed at the altars will be worry free,
For they will not be parted in heaven up above,
But continue as families in everlasting love.

Death is but a short parting as a loved one moves on
To higher, better things if the highest kingdom is won,
Although they are missed, hearts are empty and sad
Hope springs eternal if a temple marriage you had.

Come and be united for now and the life to come,
Do not fall apart when your loved one’s life is done,
Oh, the comfort and easing of that cruel pain,
Knowing that in heaven you’ll be together again.
