In This Sacred Holy Temple

In this sacred, holy temple we are constantly taught
The way we should tread to lead us back to heaven,
It helps keep our minds free from evil thoughts,
Teaches us to be Christ-like and other blessings given.

In this sacred, holy temple many covenants are made,
If we are always true and faithful, endure to the end,
If we remember the promises, our thoughts never fade,
Press ever onward, then we will meet Jesus our friend.

In this sacred, holy temple, we are ever blessed,
A place to plan for life eternal as we help dead souls live,
Learning of the things required to gain eternal rest
In the arms of our God, who perfect love does freely give.

May I always be found worthy to enter this sacred place,
Work with friends and loved ones day by blessed day,
I’ll strive, work and pray, so that one day I’ll see His face,
And help guide others homeward in a sweet, loving way.

Oh, temple of our God, standing so tall and very strong,
So full of truth and beauty, so full of purity and love,
If we follow precepts taught here, we cannot go wrong,
And we will make it back to our home in heaven above.
