SCRIPTURE READING IN THE TEMPLE

If you read the scriptures in the temple
your mind will open wide,
Pure understanding will freely flow,
His knowledge He cannot hide.

Things will become so clear to you,
the Lord’s will be made known,
God’s love will seep through the pages
and you will become His own.

The Lord will lighten your understanding,
give you wisdom from above
As you contemplate the holy scriptures
He will fill your life with love.

So when you are sitting in the holy temple,
open up those scriptures wide,
Then learn and meditate within these walls,
and God, His glory will not hide.
