BROTHERS IN THE TEMPLE

The people who work in the temple are patient and kind,
Full of understanding and other qualities hard to find
In the world, but are found in abundance behind the temple door,
Brothers in the temple show by their deeds their God they adore.

Gentlemen are polite saying and doing things that are right,
Performing their temple duties with great spiritual might,
Gentlemen acting as the Saviour would have them do,
A good example for others to follow, all Christians true.

Then another quality that stems from working in this place,
And puts a special smile on each handsome, manly face,
That is being a gentle man with a spirit pure and meek,
Radiating God’s love, which all of us should truly seek.

A gentleman, with a gentle man combined together as one,
Is a rare gift, it comes when men say,”Thy will be done,”
Then do the work graciously with a tender, loving smile
Whether helping with changing a tire or going the extra mile.

So dear brother temple workers, keep up this good work,
Show by example and your priesthood duties never shirk,
For being a gentleman and gentle, radiates God’s great love
And you are walking on the path that leads to heaven above.
