THE SECOND COMING
Painting “Second Coming” By Harry Anderson
How many trumpets will sound? How many angels sing?
On that glorious day of His promised second coming.
The rocks and vales will find speech and gladly rejoice,
The mountains will worship at the sound of His voice.
Waiting souls will come forth from graves far and wide,
None in that mighty crowed could ever their joy hide,
Those alive will run to greet Him with love on every face,
As He comes, in perfect love, to earth showering all with grace.
Many come clothed in white surrounding the Saviour in love
As He comes down to earth to reign from the heavens above,
Then Satan will be bound, no more scheming sly ways
To twist the truth make, make right wrong with wicked lies.
I long to see the my Saviour come forth out of the sky,
Whether I am alive when He comes again, or after I die,
Let me come rejoicing singing songs of love and praise,
Sit at His feet and learn more about His eternal ways.
