RENT FOR ROOM
How much rent service are we willing to pay,
As we try to work and to serve Him every day,
Do we try and serve Him with all our heart,
Or do we skimp in service rent on our part?
If service is the only rent for our room here on earth,
Does rent paid give us a hovel or a home of worth,
Do we stop and think as we quickly go our way,
Have I really paid enough rent service this day?
Every little act of kindness, every small good deed
Will be our rent payments by meeting another’s need,
When we make it to heaven how big will my mansion be?
A mighty mansion of grace or just a shack saved for me.
