More poems about Service

REACH OUT
We all want to get to heaven when we leave this life,
Know peace and contentment be free of pain and strife,
Yet we will not just stroll up to the gates of heaven above,
But reach out constantly in service, work and kind love.

Reach out in service to others every chance that we can,
Look out for opportunities, put service in your life’s plan,
There is no service, however small, that He won’t recognize,
So reach out in service, then heaven may be your final goal.

Reach out in work, work good and wholesome of every kind,
Use well the gifts by God given you, both your body and mind,
Do not shirk your labours or waste your God given life away,
But work with all effort and diligence, never be idle any day.

Reach out in sweet love and so touch many a saddened heart,
Your thoughtful arms reaching out in love, doing your part,
Showing your love to others will help all to truly understand,
That the path to heaven is in the palm of your own hand.
