SPECIAL DAY
Everyday is a special day, or can be,
For each one is preparing for eternity,
There should be nothing hum-drum,
For there are many things to be done.

We awake every morning to serve,
Pray to find a way glory to deserve,
If that is possible for sinners like us,
But go quietly working with no fuss.

To day is special if I make you smile,
If I sit and talk to a stranger for awhile,
Special if I find someone to help in need ,
Or if by the hand a blind soul to lead.

Yes, everyday is special let it work for you,
Serve anyway that comes the day through,
Be it ever so simple good will come someway,
Then surely it will indeed to a special dy.
