VOLUNTEERS
They come in all shapes and sizes,
Never seek for gain or free prizes,
Serving others in a very quiet way,
Giving time and talent many a day.
Volunteers do all kinds of things
I think they have hidden angel wings,
Visit the sick, the halt and the blind,
Leave a little cheery feeling behind.
Organizations that are world wide
Need volunteers, aid to provide,
Volunteers are a tiny cog in a wheel,
That keeps things running with zeal.
Some serve on many busy committees
Others do all sorts of different duties,
Some just sit to wait, so not alone
When its someones turn to be called home.
All you need is a voice that has a smile,
Willing to go that extra long mile,
Be there for someone who needs a hand
Volunteers are folks of a special brand.
