TO SERVE A MISSION
Dear missionary, please be very strong,
Keep your heart and mind from wrong
As you start your work for the Lord,
Going forward spreading His word.

You may have doors shut in your face,
But you’re on His side, full of His grace,
You’ll know disappointment and be sad,
Then some one will listen and you’ll be glad.

Dear missionary leaving those you love
To serve our God in heaven above,
You will be blessed and you will grow
Because you love our dear Saviour so.

Please read the scriptures every day,
Help other people along life’s way,
Choose the right in all that you do
And the Lord will take care of you.

Spread the truth, be strong and brave,
Go out there and many souls save,
Be a Daniel, or a Nephi bold and true,
Go dear brother, our love is with you.
