His hands were hands of kindness,
Hands filled with compassion and love,
Hands of truth and pure righteousness,
Hands that direct all to heaven above,
His hands were hands of healing,
Relieving all suffering and pain,
His hands were always hard working,
But not for money, greed or gain.
His hands were full of humility,
Hands often grasped in prayer,
His hands showed justice and mercy,
Full of understanding and care.
His hands were hands of sacrifice,
Outstretched on the cross for me,
Hands that paid the ultimate price
To carry mankind to God and eternity.
Our hands should be like His hands,
Full of the things he taught on earth,
Hands willing to act and understand,
Hands of charity which are hands of worth.
