WHAT WILL I DO FOR JESUS?
I do profess to be a true Christian,
Be obedient, try to be free from sin,
Follow the holy path that Jesus trod
As He shows us the way back to God.
Are there things I wont stop doing?
My own selfish pride easily justifying,
Saying This little sin will not count
Blind to the suffering on the Olive Mount.
Oh yes, I will go that extra long mile,
Willing always to give a friendly smile,
I will study the scriptures every day,
Say my prayers always in the proper way.
I ask, is that enough of a true sacrifice?
Staying in my comfort zone, cozy and nice,
What can I do to prove my real worth
As a Christian as I sojourn on earth.
What will I do for Jesus, Saviour mine,
Could I sacrifice all for my Master divine?
I hope that He and others will say when I die,
Here, resting, does a true Christian heart lie.
Prove me dear Master so I may always show,
That I will go whereer you want me to go,
Do and say the things that are good and right,
Unselfishly serve thee with all my might.
