NEVER ENOUGH
No matter how much we do
it will never be enough,
If we serve all our life through,
it will never be enough,
His sacrifice for all our sins,
that was enough,
If we are repentant and serve
His gift is then enough.
However much we kneel and pray
it will never be enough,
If we study the scriptures every day
it will never be enough
To learn and love the master who knew
when He’d suffered enough,
All the pain and the anguish we will
never know enough.
If we give everything we have and own
it will never be enough,
However hard we strive for the heavenly throne,
it will never be enough,
But His loving kindness, His grace truly divine
will always be enough
To guide those who love Him, let His light shine,
so then it is enough.
