COLOURS OF LOVE

You colour my life with loveliness
With your paintbrush of eternal love,
It brightens the dullest sky with a kiss
Of warmth, like the hidden sun above.
Each action a live colour of your caring,
Each word a shade that increases my worth,
Each glance you give me, a ray of love shining
To light the way to heaven, to colours not on earth.
The colours that come with a moonlit walk,
Or for a stroll along by the pounding lake we go,
Each fills my life with a brightness as we talk.
These colours that are ours are known to very few,
The colours of love and the colours of sharing
Are the radiant colours that I love above all,
Colours of healing and colours of sharing,
Colours that will not fade what’re befall.
We’ll have a picture for our heavenly home,
Coloured with love on earth as we did roam.
