A POINT OF NO RETURN
In our life here on earth, is there a point of no return?
Can we be like a mere object to a whirlpool drawn?
If we the wrong path take along the road of life,
Do we have to stay and suffer through pain and strife?
The answer is “No”, for we are free to chose our way.
Even when we think it hard to change, easier to stay,
We have a God who loves us, a God who really cares,
May be friends and loved ones saying many prayers.
We are not alone in this journey of life, whether short or long,
We have a safe path to follow, but if we do go wrong,
We can make a choice, there is no point of no return
For a child of God, however far down the road they’ve gone.
So if by chance you take the wrong fork in the road,
Have the strength to turn around, do not scoff and goad.
Every soul is of great worth to our loving God above,
So there will always be a point to turn, to a God of love.
