COME UNTO ME
Matthew 11:28
“Come unto me, all those who labour
        and are heavy laden,
And I will give you rest.” Jesus said,
        what a sweet haven,
What comfort and sweet assurance
        that He really cares,
Yet there are many who wander
         about all unawares
Of those wonderful words spoken
        by God’s own Son,
That would help them every victory
        for good can be won.
There is no task, there is no pain
        no cruel suffering,
That he cannot help with or understand,
        Him our Heavenly King.
To rest in the Lord gives us strength far
        beyond our own,
The power and will to live worthy of
        God’s heavenly throne.
No burden is too heavy for Him
        to share your load,
He is there to lift you many times
        along live’s road.
Use the offer given to us by a friend so
         very loving and true.
Through all life’s trials, He will be there
        always just for you.
