SPIRITUALLY FED
Sometimes you have a spiritual snack
To help along life’s way,
A gentle word spoken, a pat on the back
That brightens your day,
Sometimes a spiritual meal at sacrament
With a good talk or two,
A special message that seems to be meant
Just that day for you,
At stake conference a true feast is given,
Hope shines bright,
Shows the love you need to return to heaven,
The path of right.
Yet for a banquet, a multi course spiritual meal,
To General Conference go,
Listen to all the speakers and singing that does heal,
Great attention show,
For there spirituality fills the heart and mind
With a message of love,
Meant to help us all, words from a Father so kind,
Guiding us from above.
Every message touched my tired heart, every hymn
and extra sweet prayer,
Every word spoken was wisely prompted by Him
Who is always there.
There to give all spiritual banquets when in tune
To His holy word,
Please, General Conference let me hear you soon,
So I’ll practice what I heard.
