HELPS WITH SCRIPTURE MASTERY
1.
Nephi had a very hard task to do,
One with many great demands,
But he was always so strong and true.
I will go and do what the Lord commands.
2.
When Nephi brought home those plates of brass,
He began reading them to his brothers out aloud,
He said “I did liken all scriptures unto us”
They did not understand for they were very proud.
3.
What it would it have like in Eden fair,
With Adam and Eve together forever there?
We would still be waiting to be set free,
So Adam fell that man might be.
4.
If Lucifer had had his way we would choose all right,
Not growing or developing by fighting the good fight,
Never knowing free agency a gift of great worth
So men are free to choose liberty or death.
5.
We should all try to gain knowledge, growing every day,
Striving hard to progress to a happier better way,
To be learned is good if you hearken to the council of God above,
For the more we learn of Gods plan, the more we show our love.

You may think it fun to goof off, think you are happy,
As many will say eat drink and always be merry,
But stop and think for a moment before you go astray,
What will happen to you come the great judgement day.
7
The more we read the scriptures, the more we know
About our beloved saviour and how He loves us so,
Feast upon the words of Christ, this will set us free
To follow t he right path to be with Him for eternity.
