Fairies In The Forest
Come to the clearing in the dark forest
Near where the stream flows swift and free.
Come when the moon is full, that is best.
But come not alone and you will surely see
The fairies and elves laugh, dance and sing
Having their moonlight magical feast.
For the flowers dance and sweet bells ring,
For there in the clearing every forest beast
Talks and laughs like you and I, in the forest,
In the clearing, just when the moon is full.
Not many people know for they never dare tread
In the forest in the clearing when the moonlight
Is as bright as day. For if you share the magic bread
So tales of old are quietly told, your eyes are never bright
Again unless you find in the forests glade, the clearing
Where the fairies and eves dance and animals talk
And the flowers dance with joy. Your heart yearning
To see once again this glorious sight, or wither and die
Like sweet flowers without any light. But come to the forest
When the moon is full and see for yourself if our tale is true.
