TRAFFIC JAMS AND SOLITUDE
The time you miss real isolation most
is when the traffic is just stop and go,
when a journey that should take an hour
takes at least three, as you fight a host
of drivers all driving the best they can,
whichever lane you chose is the slowest.
Then your mind drifts back to solitude,
where theres no such things as jams.
The only time you stop is for the mighty moose,
or friends that stop to chat in the middle of the
road as they lean out of their vehicle windows.
That may cause a two car stop, but why worry,
you hop out of the car and join in the fun,
as you all talk together, someone else may come.
