Life is quite short so we are told by some wise and honest men.
Sometimes that seems true, when all the world is full of fun
And everything seems to go your way on wings of a song.
Yet some days seem long and painful and you wish they were done.
But over a span of a year or two, just take a backward glance,
I am sure you will say with a puzzled look where has the time gone,
For even the hardest times past and good ones come round again,
And if we have a good attitude we will think our life is quite fun.
But if we dwell on the things that are bad, things that make time drag,
We will wish the hours to fly by and waste this gift that is ours,
What will we show at the very end, if all we do is wish life away?
Because we forgot the sunshine and just remembered the showers.
Time does fly when you look for the good and work hard and play,
If you find new things to learn as you go, find a good deed to do,
Look around at the fine things that we have, make a new friend today,
Then life will be short, but oh how full it will have been for you.
