MURDER MYSTERIES
I love a good murder mystery
Either in a book or on the TV,
Yet I am person who is quite serene,
Yet like to work out who was at the scene.
Follow each clue very carefully,
Re-read a page or two to jog my memory,
Beware of red herrings the write puts in,
Yet most times the great puzzle I do win.
There are always lots of suspects to choose,
If you pick the obvious one you may loose,
I’ll write an ‘Who done it’ one of these days,
Snoop around and research, work out a plot
And let them find the killer who is a really bad lot.
I would find it hard to make one person very bad,
So I’ll stay with poems and stories that aren’t sad.
